Terms of Use

Rock Office Technologies Limited, on behalf of itself, its affiliates and wholly-owned subsidiaries (collectively, “Rock”) provides a web-based task management platform pursuant to a license agreement with you or your subscribing organisation (individually and together, as applicable, “you”). By using the Site, you agree to be bound by the following terms of use (“Terms of Use”):

1. USE OF THE SITE

You may access and use the Site and the content made available to you on the Site (“Content”) in accordance with these Terms of Use.

2. REGISTRATION AND PASSWORDS

Some Content provided on the Site is not available to the public. It may only be accessed with valid login credentials provided pursuant to your license agreement and in accordance with these Terms of Use. You are required to register for a single user account with a username and password. You are responsible for all use of your account, username and password and for preventing unauthorised use. If you believe there has been unauthorised use, you must notify Rock immediately by emailing info@rocktasks.com. Rock may suspend, disable or change your account, user name or password at any time.

3. LIMITATIONS ON USE

Except for the limited rights to download, store and print Content set forth in the Fair Use policy in Section 4, you agree not to otherwise download, store, reproduce, republish, transmit, display, distribute or take screen shots of any portion of the Content or Site. You further agree not to (a) sell, rent, lease, loan, transfer, sublicense or otherwise make available or permit access to the Content or Site to any third party; (b) modify, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer any portion of the Content or Site; (c) use or attempt to use any deep-link, scraper, robot, bot, spider, data mining, computer code or any other device, program, tool, algorithm, process or methodology or process having similar functionality, to access, acquire, copy or monitor any portion of the Content or Site; (d) violate the security of the Site or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, Content or Rock’s computer systems or networks connected to any server associated with Rock, through hacking, password mining or any other means; (e) use the Site or Content retrieved from the Site in any manner that infringes or violates the rights of Rock or any third party;

Contingent upon other usage limits of your license agreement with Rock, you may incorporate limited data derived from the Content into presentations and reports for use solely in connection with your internal business operations. Neither downloading nor printing shall be done for the purpose of obtaining a substantial part of such data and/or information or subset thereof. Subject at all times to Rock’s retained ownership thereof, you also have the right to distribute in the ordinary course of your business limited extracts of the data derived from the Content, both internally and externally to your employees, affiliates, clients and/or prospective clients, in the form of charts, graphs, graphics, pitch books, presentations, statistics, research reports and other reports; provided that in any case you include source attribution to Rock ("Source: Rock Office Technologies Limited").

5. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

When you visit Rock or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

Rock is not held liable for any delays or failure in performance of any part of the Site, from any cause beyond our control. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold Rock, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers and any third party information providers to the Site harmless from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any violation of the Terms of Use.

16. CHOICE OF LAW; EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION AND VENUE

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without giving effect to its conflict of laws provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue in London, England for any and all disputes, claims and actions arising from or in connection with the Site, Content and these Terms of Use.
